Warrior & Family Support

Strength - Resiliency - Peace of Mind

Ensuring the Naval Special Warfare community and its families have the support they need in times of achievement and adversity is of the utmost importance to the Foundation. Our warrior and family support programs include resiliency and morale-building events, pre- and post-deployment dinners and reintegration events, summer camps for children, command all-calls, graduations, family days, holiday celebrations and much more. The Foundation has also partnered with world-class academic institutes and other non-profits to assist NSW combat veterans and their families’ transition as they exit the military and begin a new chapter of their lives.

Family Assistance Program

This past year has been a challenge for everyone. But as with any obstacle, it presented opportunities. For the Navy SEAL Foundation, it meant we needed to ensure those inside the NSW community most affected by the COVID pandemic received additional assistance. This included families with a parent deployed, or a parent serving as a first responder. So we created and implemented the Family Assistance Program. Under this program, we’ve provided over 200 families with additional support totaling 3,426 hours of services including:

    • Virtual Learning Assistant – providing families with a helper to assist during times of virtual learning and school closings.
    • Parent Helper – providing families with someone to assist with housekeeping needs that are above and beyond affiliation with childcare such as sanitizing areas, laundry, etc.
    • Running Errands, Grocery Shopping, and Delivery Services – providing families with someone to perform services outside of the home, such as grocery shopping and other errands.
It’s thanks to teammates like you that we are able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances such as this. Thanks for standing with the Navy SEAL Foundation and the community we support!
