The Mission Continues.
Graduation from the 21-day training program is an important milestone, but it is not the end of the Building Battle Buddies journey. The relationship between each participant and their Battle Buddy continues to grow as they return home, face new challenges, and put their training into practice in everyday life.
Beyond the 21-Day Program
Building a successful service dog partnership takes time, consistency, and continued commitment. The skills developed during training provide Veterans and First Responders with a strong foundation for continuing to work with their Battle Buddy long after the formal program has ended.
As each team gains experience together, the trust and communication established during training continue to strengthen.
A Community That Understands
Building Battle Buddies creates more than individual service dog teams—it creates a community of Veterans, First Responders, trainers, supporters, and Battle Buddy graduates connected by a shared mission.
The relationships formed during the program provide opportunities for continued fellowship, encouragement, and connection with others who understand the unique experiences of military and first responder service.
